The Materials Handler plays a crucial role in working closely with multiple departments as well as clients to provide an exceptional customer experience and wrap up projects as quickly and smoothly as possible.
As a Materials Handler your responsibilities will include:
- Creating paperwork for parts and completion of work orders
- Track parts movement through the facility for internal coordination and external updates
- Scheduling and coordinating deliveries with our shipping team, occasional urgent deliveries or late parts to nearby sites may be required
- Organize work orders for our on-site Technicians to ensure product is pulled and ready for scheduled appointments each morning
- Perform quality inspections of both finished and unfinished cabinetry parts
Essential Job Functions and Requirements:
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Extremely organized with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and fellow team members
- Competent computer skills
- Experience in a customer service position is preferred
- Must have a Valid G class license
Education: High School Diploma (OSSD, GED or equivalent)) preferred, but not required
